Vortex Whales

A nefarious corporation tinkered with an alien object in the middle of the Pacific ocean and accidentally opened up a vortex to another dimension. The megacorp will stop at nothing to exploit the strange energy on the other side of the portal, but might destroy the world in doing so. 

You are a seasoned mariner. But your boat drifted into the vortex and you are now trapped. The other side is a scary and unpredictable place, and the megacorp is not too happy you've arrived either. But a mysterious whale song calls to your from the alien waters. Might it be to your aid? 

Using your DIY hydrophone and whale-song translating machine, you just might have the means to find out what the whales are saying, and possibly find a way out. 

Vortex Whales is a one-page RPG designed for solo or co-op play. Keep a journal of what you find inside the vortex. The answer to the mystery of the vortex lies in the whale song. Can you figure it out?
